Surveillance cameras
The word “CCTV” is the Persian translation of the English word closet circuit television or cctv for short. It literally means CCTV magic box and refers to cameras that are fixed in place.
CCTV refers to all cameras that are fixed in place and send images to one or more locations. Because most of these cameras are used in security, surveillance, and security monitoring systems, the term is more relevant, but its technical meaning even extends to video and conference video cameras.

Analog cameras
These cameras are the first generation of CCTV cameras that use analog waves to receive and transmit audio and video information. The audio and video of these cameras are each transmitted by a separate double-stranded cable with a series of wires preventing the role. Plays noise on the main wire. A common cable for the image of these cameras is the rg59 coaxial cable, although it is possible to connect the image of these cameras with different cables as needed.
IP cameras under the network
IP cameras are the new generation of CCTV cameras. Today, global markets have shown great interest in digital cameras. These cameras, as their name suggests, use fully digital waves to analyze and transmit video and audio data. This means that unlike analog cameras, these cameras digitize the waves from the very beginning. While using digital waves, they are controlled and connected under the network platform. Each camera acts as a device on the network and is connected to the control center by the ip network ID in the form of network patterns and rules.
Dual-purpose cameras
These cameras are actually analog cameras that also have a network output port. Their quality is analog and they can be used as analog cameras or network cameras.
The use of these cameras is recommended only when the CCTV system is analog, but the connection of one or more cameras directly to the network is required.
